In short: we read your business listing to build your free page. We do not post reviews or change your listing on Free. Paid changes wait for your OK. We do not sell your data.
When you press Connect Google, you give ThanksU one permission: access to your Business Profile (your business listing on Google Search and Maps). We also get your Google name and email so we know who owns the page.
We read these to build your free page at yourname.thanksu.org. We do not see your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, contacts or passwords.
Your free page is a snapshot of your listing on the day you publish it. It does not keep syncing.
Build and Boost can recommend a better logo, cover, description, services or categories, and Boost can reply to reviews. Nothing is written to your listing until you confirm that change.
On a paid plan we may also ask to be added as a manager on your listing so your page can stay in sync. We do not do this on Free.
If a customer uses the private feedback form on your page, we store the message and email it to the ThanksU team so it reaches you. It is not posted publicly and it is not posted to Google.
Your public page only shows what your listing already shows publicly: name, address, phone, website, reviews, photos and posts.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.
We keep your page and data while your page is live.
Delete it yourself: open thanksu.org/start, press Connect Google with the same Google account, and press Delete page. The page, its private feedback and our copy of your Google sign-in are removed straight away, and the address shows “this page was removed”. You can also remove ThanksU from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Or email hans@icebergmedia.co.uk and we delete it within 30 days.
Paid plans: cancel with Plan & billing on thanksu.org/start (sign in with the same account). Cancel the plan first, then you can delete the page. Email al@thanksu.org only if your page has no card on file.
ThanksU's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
